Games... Looking back my childhood years I was mostly immersed in playing games starting from the famous Snake, Bounce, Galaxy Shooters, Terminator. These were the mobile games. Way before them was the ludo like the same one which is now available in mobile, but the difference was we drew it using the chalk piece in the floors and used wooden dices and after some time we changed to steel one which I believe you can still get in stores and the ones we bought was from SriRangam temple where I liked the sound when you roll. I got a gift from my uncle I beleive the best one - Chip-based handheld games(keyboard connected to TV) where the popular game was Mario, Duck hunt using the gun and then every month there will be so much pleasing for buying a new chip after convincing my mother I will by 2-3 chips my personal favourites where Double Dragon, Ninja Turtles, The Bugs Bunny, Contra, Bomberman, Tank(where you need to protect the star), Spiderman. These were my personal ones still I remember the days I spent with my cousins and played. I had cousins in both sides and when I go to my thatha house it will also be packed and taken with me. My mom will scold me going for 2 days and you need to take this as well because this mostly will be bustravel and again we need to walk. But the thing is my brother will inform me to bring this as well because we were same school and everyday we will see eachother so information will be passed much faster. Yeah I almost forgot the game it was based on the movie The Lion King was also there. And from there moved to Road Rage, Vice City, Flash Games(a CD where you will have 10-20 games), Need For Speed, San Andreas. And from there moved to mobile games again and during 10th my brother unexpectedly gifted me Micromax Bolt and the days began with internet I remember recharging for some amount and would get 300mb and use it to download games calculatively and then share it came the saver where we share the games in tution. And then PUBG and COC came.
So I used to play ludo with one of my grandma where I go with my father for switching off the motor at night and on our way back we will go and see her and we will spend some time with her by playing and she will win because I don't know the stratergy very well after some time I grasped and used it to win. Still she is there but now she staying with her kids and even though now we go to farm atnight I still miss those days. She had the wooden dice with a ludo structure which is made of the cloths and the Pawns(which will be called as nai(dog) by her) made out of wood with 16 of them in different colors with a pouch in the cloth it self to hold the dice and pawns which will be folded like thick square shaped kerchief. Though I have played countless games but these are the ones which I have memories with and to hold that it doesn't necessarily have to be a big game though, its just the time and the people who were there and the laughters that happened.
