Photos... I mean who doesn't love taking photos, nowadays wherever me and my family/friends go we take a photo and make a post on our socials with a nice quote or a cute emoji or a funny message. But if you look back before this social apps or let me put that in this way like this, when I didn't have this exposure in my home my parents had a keypad phone which was used to make calls and there was a small camera and a small flash light with very minimum storage and we can extend it with external sd card. I remember taking up so many photos like whatever I see it might be a paddy farm, my dog, cattles, well and so on. Due to this, phone's memory got full and my father scold me for maxing the storage.

Let me go further back, like when I was switching from crayons to cursives, during that time we had land line phone only. During that time, my cousin had a camera and my mom used to do a lot of shutter sounds with it and apparently she had manged to print those photos and made it a album, this is not the first time she had done it, she has done this from her college days and she still has the photos when she went trip with her friends and the time when she was in hostel. Whenever I used to feel bored, I take these photos and randomly point out at people and start to ask about them and she never gets tired of saying it repeatedly because it will bring the joy in her and she would smile after seeing those pics. Likewise, she made around 5-6 albums of my childhood photos(attached below) which I used to revisit whenever I feel bored or when I go home after a long gap. When revisiting these photos it automatically boosts my energy and makes me smile and think like how I was in my 2nd, 5th grades like just not worrying about my clothes or my hair throwing the poses which came into my mind or giving poses of heros from old movies... The thing with physical photos is sometimes I just take the photo out and take it with me and just stick it in my room and whenever I look at that photo when I was stressed or mood off, looking at it just eases my mind and I would automatically start to think on what to do next without wasting too much time about the stress.

One of my favourite go to song, The Nights by AVICII there will be part where he looks at his fathers pictures and the letters his father wrote for him during his college days and smiles at them (attached this as well).  So the thing with the physical photos is, it just brings back the feel of the whole environment when you took it(I remember only for some) and it just gets better when you have the persons around you who are intrested in listening to the back story, just like that you got the best time of the day/week. While writing this article, I just remembered a few moments of my childhood memories with my friends which bought the smile back out of nowhere(don't have a photo of those 😐). Saying all this, still I haven't made more than 5 physical photos for the past one year, those were also during theme park visits. You don't need to make every photo into a physical one, also necessarily it doesn't need to be the best one, it just can be as simple as a small moment where you were enjoying watching a firework or a sunset or a casual photo of you and your mates!
Hope this might have made you take back to your childhood memories as well!
